Kantilo Nilamadhaba temple is one of the major temple of Odisha. This place is one of the most visited tourist destination of odisha.Shri Nilamadhava Temple is very old and famous Vishnu temple which is near to the bank of Mahanadi in Nayagarh district of Khandapada Block. This place is famous for lord Nilamadhaba. According to Purana's many years ago Lord Vishnu was worshiped as Nilamadhab by sabar king Biswabasu . After that Lord Nilamadhab was appears as Daru murty in Puri Shreemandir so this place is the origin of Load Jagannath. The design of this temple is very similar to Puri Jagannath temple and the rituals of load Nilamadhab is almost same as in Puri Shreemandir.
