Thuamul Rampur is a high plateau in the southern part of the Kalahandi District in Western Odisha. A breathtaking land where the weather changes frequently, Thuamul Rampur is a collage of history, heritage, culture and nature. We are grateful to Harsha Trust for facilitating our trip to Thumalu Rampur. Harsha Trust is working in 24 GP of Rampur Thuamul Block in the areas of fruit orchards, seasonal vegetables and providing drinking water facility and sanitation. Thanks to the effort of the trust farmers of Thuamul Rampur grow lichi, Alphonso mango and cashew on a commercial scale. We were told that once the people of Thuamul Rampur depended upon Bhawanipatna to meet their daily vegetable needs. Now they are supplying vegetables to Bhawanipatna.

Thuamul Rampur is surrounded by spectacular waterfalls, breathtaking mountain gorges and filled with rustic rural life.
