Maninag temples of Ranpur in nayagarh district of odisha are present at a distance of 82 kms from the state capital bhubaneswar.
The thrills of bike ride through toghtghat roads to peak of the maninag hills, greeneries of the surrounding, fresh air and the scenic views are the major attractions here which is now attracting hundreds of tourists after new road construction.
Raja festival is major festival here when a mela is organized. Other near by attractions are Ranpur's jagganath temple, erst while king's palace, Asurakumari temple & falls, Tala maninag temple etc.
Though the roads are better now, i still find it tricky for big cars in some sections. Road is also getting washed up in patches. And don't forget to search by Upper Maninaga temple, other wise google map may lead you to other maninag temples like us.
