Odisha is comparatively a warmer state, so I planned my long trip in month of December. The state of Odisha have variety of places, so no matter what kind of traveler you are, you will not going to be disappointed. I am personally a heritage lover but as I was with family so I included Puri in my trip, a coastal city which also house one of the four Char-Dham of India.

We spend quality time at Puri beach, we witnessed both the highlight of beach which are Sun set and Sun set. We also tried Sea food near Swarg-dwar beach, a junction point of tourist in Puri.

After the City of Jagannath, we moved to Konark Sun Temple, a famous World Heritage sites of India.  This 1000 year old temple is an architecture marvel, build in the shape of big chariot. This temple have hundreds of Erotic sculptures and one of its kind after Khajuraho.

After Konark, it was time to move Bhubaneswar, temple city in eastern India. It is said that Bhubaneswar have thousands of ancient temples. Lingaraj temple, Mukteshwar temple, Rajarani Temple, Parshurameshwar, Kedar-gauri temple are the most notable temples of the city. These temples are still retaining their glorious past and cultural identity.

Do you know Odisha is home of Bhitarkanika National Park, 2nd largest mangrove forest of India and home of salt water crocodile. We explored the Bhitarkanika forest via a boat trip from Chandbali, where we have seen several big & small crocodiles in their natural habitats. It was a wonderful & memorable experience.

Later, we moved to another unique destination Chandipur, known for Hide & seek beach. Initially it was hard to guess what is Hide & seek beach, but soon I realized that here sea wave left the shore and recede up to five kilometers. So, main attraction of this place was to walking on sea bed during the low tide. This experience was new to me but I enjoyed it lot.

The whole trip of Odisha was really amazing, still some places which I could not explored like; Buddhist site of Udaigiri, Ratnagiri. But, in future I will definitely visit these places.
